Our New CD

At last we have taken delivery of the new CD and it is everything we expected of it, vibrant, expressive, traditional, but with some unexpected surprises along the way. We call it Celtic Connections because of our close ties with the Lorient Interceltic Festival in Brittany.

The French, and particularly the Breton people, love all things Celtic so we have put together a collection of music and song from all our Celtic friends. Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Brittany, they are all represented here, not forgetting our own Wales. Go to the link on the menu above and hear a selection of the songs on this site. I know you will enjoy the sound.

The CD will be officially launched by Sain (the recording company) at the National Eisteddfod in Bala on August 8th and will go national and international from there. From the Sain website you can download individual tracks to your PC or Ipod, but better still why not buy one direct from the source.

Email John Bevan (bevcorflint@tiscali.co.uk) or phone (01352 732122) and he will get whatever you want to your home address. The price is £11.00 inc. post and packing to the UK, it may be more abroad, but send your cheque payable to Flint Male Voice Choir, 13 Northop Road, Flint, Flintshire CH6 5LG.

When you have listened to the songs, we would be delighted to hear your comments whatever you think. As Noel Coward once said, we can take any amount of criticism as long as it is undiluted praise. Feel free, we can still be friends.
